Modern Calligraphy with Jess
at Canterbury
During this workshop you will learn the art of modern calligraphy, using nib and ink. The workshop will focus on mastering basic strokes and practising letterforms, encouraging your own style to flourish! At the end of the class we will have the basic calligraphy skills to write your own handwritten cards. The workshop duration will be 2 hours taught by calligrapher Jess (Boards By Jess) and workshop price includes the cost of your own calligraphy starter kit to keep. The workshop will include an introduction, group exercises, as well as plenty of time for 1 to 1 help or guidance throughout. This workshop is great creatives who are new to calligraphy and looking to learn the basic skills.
This Class it suitable for beginners to Calligraphy
*Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting ink on (incase of any accidents!)
*All resources will be provided, please just bring your friendly selves.
*This class is suitable for those 16 or over.
Brunch will also be provided to keep you fuelled and hydrated to enjoy the morning of creativity.
