It’s very important that you disconnect your product by switching it off at the mains and then unplugging it for now.
Despite all the safety measures we take with our designs, very, very occasionally a problem might crop up later down the line. In the case of these products, we’ve discovered that with repeated use the body of the plug may sometimes become loose or break, with the potential to expose live elements. This could potentially be an electrocution risk and may be a fire risk if put back together incorrectly. Although this hasn’t caused any incidents to date, we ask, for reasons of safety, that you don’t use the plug.
We'll be sending a letter to you to make sure you’re aware of the product recall if you have an item that’s affected, and we’ll follow up with an email too, to make sure we’ve been in touch with everyone. You’ll be sent another suitable plug – please replace it immediately. You can then either dispose of the old plug, post it back to us or return it to any of our stores.
Whilst we will of course be in touch with everyone we believe to be affected, if you think you might have a faulty plug but haven’t heard from us, please get in touch on jamie@neptune.com
We’re so sorry for causing you any problems. If you have any questions or concerns, please just email or call us and we’ll answer them for you.
