SEO Executive

Neptune HQ, Swindon - Permanent, full-time

The role

At Neptune, we believe in the beauty of considered design. In homes that are both lived-in and loved. And in telling our story in a way that's as refined and thoughtful as the spaces we help our customers create - homes with heart. As we continue to grow-both online and through our network of stores, we're looking for a SEO Executive to join our growing digital team, to help us create a beautifully seamless journey for our customers, from homepage to basket and beyond.

Based at our stunning offices in Wiltshire and also hybrid working, you'll report to our SEO & Optimisations Lead, supporting the delivery of our SEO strategy across both our online store and physical retail locations. From fine-tuning product copy to uncovering keyword opportunities, you'll help make sure our website performs brilliantly - for search engines and people alike.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the rollout of SEO improvements across our e-commerce site and store pages
  • Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis to spot new opportunities
  • Optimising content, metadata, headings, images and internal links for better visibility
  • Contributing to our blog strategy with SEO-led content ideas and structure
  • Assisting with technical SEO audits and liaising with developers to action fixes
  • Tracking performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console and Ahrefs
  • Supporting link-building and digital PR efforts
  • Working closely with teams across content, trading, and development to bring campaigns to life
  • Testing, learning and continually improving how we approach SEO at Neptune

This role would suit someone early in their digital marketing career, or perhaps with freelance or side project experience in SEO, who's looking to develop in a premium brand environment. You'll bring a genuine interest in SEO and digital marketing with some hands-on experience with keyword research and basic SEO techniques. You'll also be comfortable with spreadsheets, data tools, and drawing insights with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. You'll bring an understanding of HTML and how websites are structured and we'd love it if you also have experience using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or Moz. It would also be a huge bonus if you are familiar with Shopify and hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Media or similar.

This isn't just a stepping stone role. It's a chance to grow your SEO career in a thoughtful, design-led business where digital is an essential part of our future. We're a business built on thoughtful decisions and timeless ideas, and our team is one of the things we're proudest of. If you're looking for a place where calm heads, clever thinking and genuine collaboration are valued-you'll feel at home here.
