The materials
Chloe is transformed from flax to fabric in Belgium – one of a few countries which has an ideal climate for cultivating the world’s finest linen. As such, the material carries the Belgian Linen label, a quality trademark which guarantees it’s woven in Belgium with at least 85% natural flax fibres (or, in Chloe’s case, 100%). And, it also has the Masters of Linen label, a seal of excellence which certifies that it's been made in Europe and meets high quality standards. Die Farbe
Wie alle unsere einfarbigen Leinenstoffe ist auch Chloe garngefärbt. Das bedeutet, dass die Fäden vor dem Weben gefärbt werden, um eine größere Farbtiefe zu erreichen. Den Stoff gibt es in drei dezenten Farben – diese hier ist York Rose, ein helles Rosé, das eine tolle Alternative zu Beige ist.
Doing the right thing
Not only is this biodegradable fabric made in a carbon neutral weaving mill, our supplier also ensures that all parts of the flax plant are used during production. The shives (fragments that break off inside the plant stems during flax extraction) are used for animal bedding or chipboard, while the long and highest-quality short fibres are used for textiles like our Chloe linen. The fabric also meets OEKO-TEX standard 100, a label exclusively applied to textiles that have been tested and found free of harmful substances.Kulante Retouren

- Mit der Zeit entstehen leichte Falten.
