IsoGuard® is a timber treatment oil – made from natural ingredients and containing no VOCs – developed to help protect your wood from spills and marks without masking its texture and character. Any exposed, unpainted oak and teak in our collection will be pre-finished with our IsoGuard® treatment, but to ensure it is fully protected for years to come it will need refreshing every so often (generally this treatment only needs reapplying every couple of years, but for designs that have high use such as bathroom pieces we would recommend resealing them every six months to a year). There are three, understated finishes to choose from: Natural, Seasoned and Chalked, as well as separate formulas.

When to use:
Our oak furniture comes protected with IsoGuard®, which is designed to last and won’t necessarily ever need refreshing. However, well-loved furniture may start to wear in places over time. In these cases, we recommend refreshing the finish every couple of years.
